Pack Leadership Positions

Any Pack is only as good as the adult volunteers that lead and direct the programming for the boys. There are many leadership and committee positions where you can help our pack go.

Cubmaster: Responsible to work with the Pack leaders to make sure their needs are being met for the success of their Den. The Cubmaster helps oversee the programs with the Committee. A Cubmaster helps to recruit, supervise, direct and motivate the Pack’s leaders.

Assistant Cubmaster: Is a support system for the Cubmaster. They help the Cubmaster when the Cubmaster is busy with another task, or unable to perform their duty. There may be more than one assistant.

Chartered Organization Rep: Is a liaison between the Pack and the Chartered organization. Helps coordinate the needs of the Pack with the Chartered organization.

Unit Commissioner: Is a liaison between the Pack and the District or Council. Helps coordinate the needs of the Pack with Official BSA policy.

Committee Chairman: Coordinates the responsibilities of the Pack committees. The Committee Chairman coordinates with the Cubmaster to ensure the success of the Pack and Pack events.

Committee Member: Any of the many tasks listed for committee positions, and anyone interested in helping the Pack function.

Den Leader (Wolf/Bear/Webelos): Prepares and conducts their Den meetings. Works with the other Pack leaders to ensure their Den is an active and successful part of the Pack. The Den leader must conduct or coordinate at least one of the Pack programs during the monthly Pack meetings.

Assistant Den Leader (Wolf/Bear/Webelos): The assistant is there to help plan and run their Den meeting.  The Assistant should be able to take charge of the Den if the Den Leader becomes busy or is unable to meet their responsibilities.

Tiger Cub Den Leader: The Tiger Cub Den Leader coordinates the SHARED leadership with the Tiger Den’s Adult Partners for the success of the Den.
